Skillset
a master of “jack of all trades”
Throughout my career I’ve built up many skills including - how to develop a new skill. I love learning and am not afraid to give something new a try.
My most critical ability is the ability to “figure it out.” I don’t always know answers, but I know how to discover and create answers. I enjoy figuring things out on the fly and gain as much experience from my failures as from my successes.
“Failure is success in progress.”
-Albert Einstein
The process
think it.
visualize | express | Articulate | Organize
It all begins with an idea. Sometimes, though, a new idea can be overwhelming. I can help you explore that space and articulate that idea.
My skills and experience are perfectly suited to create space for you to imagine and dream. While you explore and verbalize your passion, I capture and sort through your thoughts. I am especially fond of helping people to identify and process their ideas.
Once you put language to the thought, we have something to build off of. We can imagine, plan and create a path forward.
Let’s keep moving.
Build it.
structure | plan | cultivate | persue
Maybe you already have the idea: you are intimately familiar with it. You’ve held onto it for years. You just don’t know what step to take next.
Maybe we just worked it all out together and now it’s time to do something.
Building something is an entirely different set of skills. You have to get dirty. You have to try and fail - then adjust - and try again. Project planning and execution require focus and perseverance.
All you need is a roadmap (and a trusted companion) to get on your way!
nurture it.
support | maintain | expand | strengthen
This is often the hardest part for visionaries and people with multiple passions. Once you build the thing, you have to take care of it. You can’t just run off to the next new, shiny idea.
Unless… You have someone who can help.
One critical component of building out your ideas is making sure there are systems and processes in place, to keep things stable and effective, even after your focus shifts somewhere else.
I am fascinated by analysis and efficiency, and I love building structure to keep things moving.
